Police Community Officers (PCSO)

The Parish Council funds two Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) to provide an additional visible police presence over and above the regular police compliment. PCSO's are able to spend more time dealing with the low-level anti-social type of behaviour, that regular Police Officers do not have the time to deal with. You can contact the PCSO's by email at:

SCTHunsburyNeneValley@northants.pnn.police.uk

If you need to contact police to report a crime, please contact them on 03000 111 222 or to report a crime in progress or in an emergency dial 999.

Another useful website is the "Inspectors pod cast", this contains up to date information about what is happening on the sector.  You can also listen to the latest pod cast by clicking on the link below;

Website Update

This month we want to draw your attention to a new service we are offering through our website to those people who have a need to check out what information is held about them by Northamptonshire Police.

We get many applications for this service every month, but until now people have had to download a form, fill it in and send it in the post with evidence of identification and the £10 fee. Now it can all be done on line - including submitting the necessary documents and making payment.

TELL US WHAT YOU KNOW

Finally this month, we are launching a new campaign to prevent and reduce burglary. We need your help and we're asking if you have any information about burglary to be public spirited.

The kind of thing we are looking for is information about people you suspect may be committing burglary, people who are perhaps living beyond their means or people who are handling stolen property.

And if you don't want to contact Northamptonshire Police direct, you can speak in complete confidence to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. They won't ask for your name and what you know may well help to detect or prevent crime.
