Welcome to the Wootton & East Hunsbury Parish Council website. We hope that you find it helpful in letting you know what is going on at the Parish Council, and within the Parish, including events, details of your Parish Councillors, information about our Community Centres, minutes of our meetings, details of planning applications and local public transport, read the local Police update, or find out what’s going on as part of our Youth Project.
Wootton & East Hunsbury lies on the outskirts of Northampton, the traditional home of the Boot and Shoe industry and the county town of Northamptonshire, known as the county of 'squires and spires'.
Once a village located a few miles outside Northampton, Wootton has now become a suburb of the town. The parish is made up of many distinct parts. The old village, a large part of which is designated as a conservation area, and the urban developments of East Hunsbury, Wootton Fields and Simpson Manor.
